🎯 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing tech team and help shape the future of Barkibu’s data ecosystem.

You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes that power our analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.

This is a great opportunity to work in a modern data stack and have a direct impact on how data informs decisions across the organization.

🧠 What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Develop and optimize data models and data warehouses for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all sources and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, BI, and Operations) to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Work with a modern stack including Redshift, BigQuery, DBT, AWS Glue, Stitch, Airbyte, and Metabase.
